I adore him. I’ve been photographing Riley for a long time. I am quite sure one of my favorite images of him I took in my living room. Yikes, that was forever ago. He is getting big on both me and his momma!
I love his eyes, his lips, his laugh and his ability to model for me. I even love the little bit of milk mustache that I can see in this image when I am really close. Mom might not like it but I think as grown up as Riley seems, the milk reminds me what a sweet little boy he still is.
I shot this pic in one of my favorite spots. People look at me like I’ve lost it…. maybe I have. Sweet Lisa S, if you are reading this, go look at all those squares on your wall and you’ll know it too. I think of you every time I stand there.
Riley has done something very special for me since he was a little guy. I asked to see it again knowing that would be my Halloween post. It is gross and you’ll have to stay tuned.
Here is my guy….

Yes, I know the place :)…my wall of squares is the best part of our home! When I tell people where the kids are standing they are amazed that it could capture so much of each little personality! I quickly remind them that it is your “little eye” that sees the potential in places we don’t have the gift to see.
And speaking of eyes… Riley has an amazing set… so sweet and kind…
Amy..you have NO idea what a part of our lives you have become. For some years now, you have the ability to make a true boy by all accounts become a boy who is willing to pose and do about ANYTHING for you so that you can get the shot!!! And ohh, what shots you have gotten!!! I am both honored and privileged every year to have you chronicle my little boys’ life through your eyes. You are amazing!!! Thank you soooo much!!!
