How fortunate am I? Very. Very fortunate. When I start to realize that I have photographed families, whole…well maybe not yet ; ) families I just feel so blessed to be a part of so many amazing amazing lives.
Here are the ‘0ns’ and one ‘yn’
Miss Cameron
She is 6 now and for sure one of my early newborns. I photographed her in my living room and still love and remember the details of that day. She is sweet and gentle and kind. I had just a few minutes to photograph her by herself recently. My heart is yearning for some just Cameron time. She was giving me some looks that I feel like I must dig deeper and get more. Just a huge overwhelming feeling I have. I’ll get my way ; )
One year later, Mr Valentine, Mr Hawkeye and Mr Basketball~ Harrison
I want him. I just looked at some picture on his mommy’s Facebook. Sitting with a group of boys, I was so drawn to him. He has these dimples, blond hair and sparkle in his eye, he is a jokester and I love that! Cameron and Harrison have this certain ‘word’ that they say to me when I first see them, they have the sweetest teasing faces, I melt instantly.
Miss Maryn – Mom would say she is the spunky one, I think they all just have this innate ability to relate and sweetly tease that I love. She was born in May of 2007 so she is almost at my very very favorite age to photograph, I looooove 3 year olds! Still a little bit baby but have some independence to discover.
Now we have Miss Emmerson Jane. She has the most amazing lips and reminds me of sweet Cameron. My studio is small : ) and if the though of a 3 children, a newborn, a mommy and a daddy and McDonald’s in my studio seems overwhelming, it wasn’t. Emmerson slept perfectly, her brother and two sisters behaved way better than my boys would even today ; ). Momma and Daddy are sooooo just happy all the time, I understand how the kids are too. It was a great afternoon, a perfect afternoon!
Thank you Chad, Erica, Cameron, Harrison, Maryn and Emmerson for being such a sweet part of my photographic story. Getting to me is always an effort but you never ever act like it. You make me feel very special and I love you. B****R Much <3 Amy
