During our last visit to Denver, my niece had the responsibility of caring for the neighbors chickens. Let the out of the hen house in the morning, feed, water, play, collect eggs and put them away at night. We all made several trips with Della and enjoyed watching her take care and love, I mean really love, on the chickens that SHE named.
I love to photograph chickens and I love to photograph Della : ) I told her I needed pigtails and a farmish looking shirt. She did a great job and always plays along with Aunt Amy.
Two days after we returned home, we got a dreadful call…….A red fox. Yup, right in the city center. Darn fox : (((((((
