I have a gallery in my portrait site under My Little Eye called My Heart’s Work. It hasn’t been working and I figured it out today.
When my friend david was in Newton is 2001 I met some kids with brain tumors. My heart ached, hoped, filled with joy and with sorrow that day and every day since then for kids with cancer. There are a few things I can do for them – pray, share david’s music and photograph them. I do all three.
In the gallery on my site, you’ll find more than just kids and each has touched my heart in a very special way. Angels Mackenzie, Brant and Tyler are surely sliding down rainbows right about now, right between yellow and blue. : )
This is Mackenzie. I saw a story of her on the news and her mom Kelly and I joke that I stalked her down until she let me photograph Mackenzie with her twin sister. They are all very special to me. I get to photograph Abbie this weekend!!!! It will be such a joy : )
