Hello! My name is Clemente

Clemente’s daddy, yes daddy, made the maternity and newborn appointments. I think that is the sweetest thing.
We laughed a little bit during their maternity pics, ok lie – we laughed a LOT!
When Clemente was born, our email from daddy said ‘we are finally mom and dad’. Seriously, this dad can do no wrong. Momma, you are very lucky!

5 mothers. 5 daughters. 5 stillbirths or infant deaths. 5 mothers brought together by heartache are now fighting together.

Abby and Brendan

I have been a bad blogger, I have had this post in draft mode for a week. It isn’t written perfectly and I’ve decided not to keep editing it to make it so. It was written quickly from my heart to Abby who every day continues to amaze me with her strength in taking on the world. She is hope for me that my children will one day grow into amazing adults.
I met Abby on one of my very first dates with Bret. The event was the wedding of her mom Nancy to Bob. Over that past 20 years I have loved watching Abby. Abby represents hope for me. When I met her I was barely ‘grown’ up myself and hadn’t ever watched that process from an adult viewpoint. I got to watch Abby through the trying teenage years, to her crazy college years to her dating years to her falling in love with Brendan years to her beeing a married woman years and then to her painful miscarriage year.
So back to hope, Abby is hope. Hope to any parent that your child might just grow up to be one of the most amazing people you will ever know. Abby along with your amazing partner Brendan, you have grown into such an amazing woman and soon to be mother. I know the last year has been very difficult but I think this baby will have the most amazing parents due in part to how hard you fought together and with God on your side for him/her. God has blessed you. I am blessed too! Now hurry up so we can photograph this baby! I love yoU!
Brendan was such a good sport and did anything I asked him to. Thanks buddy, Abby and baby ? are so blessed to have you as husband and daddy. I can’t wait to see you in your new role ; )
