The eyes, the lips, the skin, the grin – everything about Layla took my breath away. In Ethopian, Layla means something and for the life of me I can’t remember. Daddy told me a jillion times and well, it was a crazy emotional weekend. So, in my mind, it means beautiful, lovely, graceful, sassy, adorable, you get the picture. Update – Daddy let me know – it means ‘another special one.’
Mom and Dad came from the Minneapolis ares for their shoot on Friday. OK, maybe there is family in New Sharon and maybe there was a baby shower to go to also but let’s just pretend they came just for me to meet Layla. In my opinion, it was worth it! : )
