I love a beautiful face. I love beautiful eyes and let my lens hit the soul. I love babies whose daddy might be from Ethiopia and whose mommy might be from the far off place of well New Sharon but live in Minnesota. Maybe not the most PC thing I’ll ever say – but I love not vanilla. I am vanilla on the outside but so not vanilla on the on the inside. I love difference. I crave difference. I thank God that people from Africa and people from Iowa can make the most beautiful children for me to fall in love with.
Here is Miss Layla. I loooooove her name, I love her. I have been dreaming of photographing her again since this day below. We got the chance but have promised each other we will again in May. So hold tight, we have ideas : )
Layla today…..
With an upcoming trip ‘home’, I am counting on some amazing new Ethiopian clothes for next time!!!
Now the best part, in addition to Layla, there is a sister! Yippeeeee!
Here is Liya – *Leah just so you can say it correctly*
Our weather was yucky so I didn’t get Liya outdoors, next time! I’m counting down the days, darn it, months.
Thank you Amber for the effort it took and takes to get to me. I appreciate it and enjoy it!!!!
