I may have already posted this picture of Chelsea. She was one of my first seniors last June. Sweet and kind and nice and lovely and the list can go on and on of all the perfect things you would want someone to say about your daughter. Chelsea is that = well in my mind anyway : )
I was walking in the Susan G Komen walk in Des Moines in October. There were cheerleaders on the corners. I was walking and talking – sush ; ) – and wasn’t paying a lot of detailed attention to them. Near the end of the walk, I saw the green/yellow uniforms of the Saydel cheerleaders. I didn’t know they were Saydel at the time. My brain just started clicking… Chelsea had green/yellow on I wonder if she is there. I looked at one girl in the middle, it was her. Sweet happy smile for me. A crazy person in the middle of everyone, picked up my camera and with a click or two I was gone. I just love how my eyes new exactly how to find her face in the crowd. She is like that for me.
Chelsea taught me about Naughty Monkey shoes. Everytime I see them now, yes, you know, I think of her sweet smile. I think you can tell, I kinda like her. Her momma, yes, they are alike : )
