Amanda works for an amazing company ; ) in Iowa City and her ‘boss’ is a client of mine. I was excited to get to meet her and get to know her family. Yes, these were taken last Thanksgiving, uh huh, bad blogger.
Now if those are the only two pictures I show you I would not be telling the truth. Here is the truth……
They were taught by the best……
Families are not the easiest thing for me to photograph. I’m not all perfect and serious and when I have to try to be that way, well it sometimes hurts. This session hurt all right,. My eyes were watering, my face hurt, my tummy hurt, you get the picture. We had amazing fun. Amanda’s family got to hear some of my favorite jokes and I learned some new ones too. Ask me the Burger King one, I may just tell you. : )
I got a really good feel for Amanda’s family that day. They live, they love and oh my gosh to they ever laugh. I wish we could all laugh like that.
A side note……at one of our locations was some grafitti. I really wasn’t paying attention to it nor did I when I edited the picture. It took Amanda’s momma asking me to remove the big ***** from around Dad’s head before I printed it. OMG, how could I have missed it, yikes! Truly, the perfect ending for a perfect session.
