I’ve been a bad blogger. Lots of 1 year old shoots, finishing up 2010 seniors, a car show poster, a cd design and seperate cd and packaging project. A great week but no blogs.
I was searching for something fun to post and I found this, one of my favorite images from Christmas. It isn’t award winning but it tells an awesome story.
My parents have always been very flexible about when we celebrate Christmas. We actually prefer for it NOT to be on Christmas day. You see if it were on Christmas day, our favorite would have to be replaced by turkey or some other standard Christmas fare. Instead we eat what Bret calls ‘Fast Food Buffet’. We all decide what we want and about 4 groups go to a couple fast food places each. When they all get back to our house, we have what you see here – a crazy gross mess of everything you shouldn’t eat but love to! Nobody has to cook, it is perfect and we all have fun, from Grandpa to the little boys.
First, 14 people (3 big boys!) and we didn’t eat it all ; ) This is what I see –
Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket with potatoes, gravy, slaw and biscuits
Long John Silvers fish, fries and hushpuppies
Arbys Roast Beef and curly fries
China King egg rolls, crab rangoon, Chinese noodles, brocolli beef and Mr Taos whatever
Burger King cheeseburgers and fries
Taco Johns tacos
Some healthy Subway subs
Should have had a MaidRite chocolate shake ; )
14 sick bellies when we are done but we had soooo much fun doing it! 7 months til Christmas!!
