On occasion there is a contact between the camera, lens and the eyes of the subject. No words are necessary. Breathing is suspended, heart rate speeds. Move. Click. Move. Click. Move. Click. Breathing returns and laughter erupts. This photograph of Allie – who laughs all the time – happened during one of those moments.
I entered this photograph into our state’s professional photography association’s Ms. Photogenic contest. Allie got 2nd in the whole state : )
