I was searching for a video today and found this news video from 2009. I had just posted Makenzie and Abbie’s picture on my facebook business page so it seemed right that I would find this video today.
I learned of Makenzie’s story while watching the news. Photographs, introductions to david and his music and now a friendship that has lasted over the years. david’s music gave Makenzie’s family comfort in their dark hours and it continues to do so today. Abbie turned 8 last week, david and Makenzie, they spent her heavenly birthday sliding down rainbows. We miss them both.

If you have watched my It’s OK youtube video, the picture at the end is Makenzie and her mommy. Now you know the story and why her photograph is there. Any time david would see Makenzie’s parents, he would sing a song for them. Seeing her at the end telling them It’s OK was perfect for david.
We didn’t get a cover shot that day or that trip, it was freezing! The next time david was here, we were back and had success : )
When they started filming for the TV, something stole our attention. You might be able to hear it at the beginning of david talking. It was a great day.
