During our last visit to Denver, my niece had the responsibility of caring for the neighbors chickens. Let the out of the hen house in the morning, feed, water, play, collect eggs and put them away at night. We all made several trips with Della and enjoyed watching her take care and love, I mean really love, on the chickens that SHE named. I love to photograph chickens and I love to photograph Della : ) I told her I needed pigtails and a farmish looking shirt. She did a great job and always plays along with Aunt Amy. Two days after we returned home, we got a dreadful call…….A red fox. Yup, right in the city center. Darn fox : (((((((

I photographed Miss Kate for the first time when she was a day old. I know her parents think that time is flying by too quickly and they are right. : ) The first picture is Kate and her momma and Kate’ brother Drew and momma at about the same age. They look a wee bit alike!

no comments Here is sweet Tiernan and his even sweeter momma, my friend and photographer Katherine – or Kat. When you are taking the pictures, it is hard to be in the pictures. I made Kat come see me for some simple pictures, they could have been taken 10 years ago or in 10 years. Mommy and baby, simple and sweet and fleeting.
